Backer Kit Surveys- Change of Address and Color Choice

Hello,

Thanks again to all our backers who have not received their rewards for your patience. We understand your frustration and it is important to us all of our backers receive their dice.

For the 250 backers who have not received your rewards you will receive a backerkit survey email today. This will allow you to select from the remaining colors and also provide your shipping address. Please check your spam folders if you have not received the survey or an email from us.

We will then start shipping Tuesday the 14th of August and as surveys are completed. An extra free dice will be included with all orders as an apology for the delays. Color of the free add on dice will be chosen based on stock levels.

We Are Shipping Outstanding Orders!

Its been a long time since our last update, we really apologize for such a long stretch of silence. We have had an extremely difficult time wrestling with our suppliers, but in the end we are making sure that none of our backers are left without dice!

To date, we have shipped 4025 out of 4269 completed orders. Many of you have contacted us to say you love the dice. It has been great to see our project come from an idea to reality and make so many people happy. At the same time, it has been a really terrible experience for backers who are still waiting patiently on their promised dice.

Of the people that didn't have their color available, understandably, many of you chose to wait for the colors you had originally chosen. This wait was exacerbated by our supplier promising over and over to deliver the outstanding order, including the Gold dice, with just a short delay.

The factory that we worked with from Shenzhen, China has failed to produce the gold dice, after many promises, continuous reassurance, and extra payments, it has become obvious that they are just stringing us along. They have also failed to meet the quantities ordered of several other colors.

Due to the missing dice and setbacks with the factory we will be offering all those who have been waiting for dice the ability to switch to remaining colors (that we have in stock), and we will be also sending you a pair of free bonus dice as a very small token of apology for you waiting so long.

The colors we have available are Silver, Black, Silver with Black Dots and Space Grey.

Over the coming week we will send out a new survey (to the remaining backers) that will allow you to update your address and select which color dice you would like. The next update will include instructions as to how to complete the new survey.

We have received the rest of the dice! Apologies for the delay. We have had difficulties getting the manufacturer to release the completed dice to our shipping service.  

Today we will send out an email that will allow you to update your address if it has changed. In a week we will lock down orders and begin shipping outstanding orders. 

 It has always been our intention to manufacture and deliver Luma Dice to all our backers. Thanks to all our backers for your patience.

Apologies to the 10% of backer who have not received their dice yet. We are just waiting on shipment from our manufacturer then we will begin processing and shipping outstanding orders.

Gold Dice

The electroplating process to make the gold dice is more expensive and time consuming. We have not received the full amount of gold dice from our manufacturer, more are coming. If you ordered gold dice there is the option to change colors if you don't want to wait longer.

Photography Competition

Its been great to see all the photographs people have been sending in. This month we will be giving away a free pair of dice to a lucky backer who sends us a shot of their dice.

To enter simply like us on Facebook at Luma-Dice and post a photograph to our wall. If its an art piece, dice at a convention or just you and your friends and family having fun with your dice we would love to see it.

The winner will be chosen on the 1st of July and can choose a free pair of Copper, Midnight Blue, Blood Red or Purple Dice. Cant wait to see them all.
